Most people underestimate this because they only count production. The full timeline looks like this:
- Quote and artwork setup — 2 to 5 working days. Faster if you already have a logo file and a rough idea of the design.
- Digital proof and approval — 1 to 3 working days from us, then however long your group takes to agree. This is where orders stall.
- Collecting sizes and names — 1 to 3 weeks. This is the real bottleneck, not the factory.
- Production — typically 10 to 15 working days for embroidery or print, depending on quantity and decoration type.
- Delivery — 1 to 3 working days on a tracked UK service.
Realistically, allow five to six weeks from the moment you decide to order to the moment hoodies are in hands. In peak season, allow more.
The peak season problem
Every school in the country wants their leavers hoodies for the same few weeks in May, June and July. From roughly February onwards, garment stock on popular colours and sizes tightens, and production queues at every UK supplier lengthen.

Year 13, sixth form and college leavers — leavers' day is typically late May or June, with prom following. Start in January or February.
University leavers and societies — graduation and degree shows land in June and July, but most societies order in February and March so hoodies get worn during term.
One important exception: if your group wants to wear the hoodies rather than just collect them at the end, order in the autumn term. A leavers hoodie ordered in October gets nine months of wear instead of two weeks.
