CentralCustom designs and produces custom hockey kit for clubs, schools and universities across the UK — playing shirts, skorts, shorts, socks, goalkeeping kit and training wear, all made in your own club colours. Whether you are refreshing a first-team strip, kitting out a new junior section or adding a sponsor to a design you already like, we handle the artwork, the sizing and the production in one place. Send us your crest and colours and we will come back with a design mock-up and a clear price per player.
Why clubs choose CentralCustom for their hockey kit
Your colours, not a catalogue's. Sublimated hockey shirts are printed before the garment is made, so the design goes right to the seam with no cracking or peeling. Hoops, panels, gradients and full-bleed sponsor blocks are all on the table — you are not limited to a stock colourway with a badge stuck on top.
Squad numbers and names done properly. Back numbers, sleeve numbers, player names and sponsor branding are built into the design rather than added as an afterthought, so they sit straight, stay put and survive a season of washes.
Your crest reproduced accurately. We redraw and colour-match club crests as part of the setup, so the badge on your shirt looks like the badge on your clubhouse wall.
Repeat orders held on file. Your design and specification stay on record. When new players join in November or a shirt gets shredded on an astro, you can reorder single items without starting the artwork process again.
Mixed adult and junior sizing. Most clubs need to dress a men's first team, a ladies' side and a junior section from the same design. We supply size sets so people try before they commit, and we run adult and junior sizing on the same order.
One point of contact. You deal with the same person from mock-up to delivery. No ticket numbers, no chasing.

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order for custom hockey kit?
Minimums depend on the garment and decoration method. Fully sublimated playing kit generally works best from around a squad's worth upwards, while embroidered training wear and tracksuits can be ordered in much smaller numbers. Tell us your squad size and we will recommend the most cost-effective route.
How long does custom hockey kit take to produce?
Bespoke sublimated kit typically needs several weeks from artwork sign-off, depending on the time of year. Pre-season is the busiest window in UK hockey, so clubs ordering for a September start should begin conversations in early summer. Stock garments with embroidery or print turn around considerably faster.
Can we add kit for new players later in the season?
Yes. Your artwork, colour references and size specification stay on file, so mid-season top-ups and replacement shirts match the originals. Small reorders carry a higher unit cost than the main run, which is why we usually suggest ordering a few spare sizes with the initial order.
Do we need a clash kit?
Most leagues expect the two teams to be clearly distinguishable, and the home side is usually the one asked to change. A single alternative shirt in a contrasting colour is far cheaper than forfeiting a fixture or borrowing bibs, so we recommend costing one in from the start. Check your own league's regulations for the exact requirement.
Can you match our existing club colours?
Yes. Send us a current shirt, a Pantone reference or your club's brand guidelines and we will colour-match as closely as the fabric allows, so new kit sits alongside older stock without looking like a different club.
Do you supply goalkeeping kit?
We supply branded GK smocks and overlayers in your club design to go over protective equipment. We do not manufacture protective padding itself, but we will make sure your keeper looks like part of the same team.
