Getting the branding right
The mistake most businesses make is branding a gift too loudly. A gift covered in company logo reads as advertising; a gift with a small, well-placed embroidered mark reads as quality.
For Christmas gifting we usually recommend embroidery over print — stitch has more perceived value, survives washing indefinitely, and looks considerably more expensive on fleece and knitwear. Keep the logo small, put it on the left chest or the back of the neck, and let the garment do the work.
If your logo has not been stitched before, it needs converting into an embroidery file first. Our embroidery digitising service handles that as a one-off, and the file is yours to reuse every year afterwards.

When to order
This is the part that catches people out every year.
- September to October — best choice of stock and colours, no rush charges. Order here if you can.
- Early November — still comfortable for most orders. This is the last genuinely safe window for embroidery on larger runs.
- Late November — possible, but stock on popular colours starts running out and lead times tighten.
- December — expect limited options and expedited pricing. Some items will not be achievable.

What is a sensible budget per person?
Most UK businesses land between £15 and £40 per head for staff gifts. Around £25 to £30 gets you a genuinely good embroidered fleece or quarter-zip. Below £15 you are into accessories and smaller items.
Is there a minimum order?
We produce from 10 units. Smaller runs are possible on some items but the per-unit cost rises because setup is fixed.
Can you deliver to multiple sites?
Yes. We can split a single order across several addresses, or pack per-person boxes for home delivery to remote staff. Tell us at quote stage — it affects the timeline.
Can we see the gift before committing?
For orders of any size we recommend a pre-production sample. It costs a little and takes a few days, but it is the only way to know how a garment actually feels.
Are corporate gifts tax deductible?
Rules on business gifts and staff entertaining are specific and change. Branded items under a certain value are treated differently to unbranded ones. Speak to your accountant — we are not tax advisers and would rather you got a proper answer.
Can you do gift boxes rather than loose items?
